Pie Paradise
About 2 weeks ago I happened upon a food channel show called Pie Paradise. I have been inspired. Normally I would put up a facebook post saying- I'm literally making a mac n' cheese pot pie and wait for all the "likes" and "yummy" comments to pop up. Now I am forced to post it on a blog that probably 5 people read! I don't tend to comment on blogs because it's not as fast as fb, so I probably won't even get the satisfaction of somebody telling me that my dinner is going to be AMAZING. I'm doing a test run with box mac n' cheese. I make the homemade stuff, but it's kind of labor intensive and kind of expensive. I decided to do a test run with the box kind. So I have an old pie crust ready to go, I have some extra butter, and I don't have a pot pie dish so we'll see what I can come up with. The plus side of having your family be in the party rental business is that I distinctively remember delivering numerous little souffl[e] (sorry don't know how to add an accent aigu over the "e" in blog posts) dishes to various customers, so perhaps I'll steal one from dad. Given that it's icy and rainy and I'm lazy I'll probably just have to be creative. If it looks good I'll post a picture.

Sounds delicious! Just read your post below...I've been wondering how your facebook "time out" has been going.
ReplyDeleteI think you should post a picture regardless. You could do a photo collage on pies.
ReplyDeleteGlad youre blogging again. And I'm sure you have many faithful readers--people just have a block against commenting on blogs but not on FB. It's weird.
